Tracing and hygiene is the key for food safety. For each delivery we can issue certificates which provide a complete documentation of the trout, from roe to slaughtering and the transport. We also do inspections and test of the ready packed product before shipments. Full inspection report can be issued for each delivery upon request.
The breeders put strong focus on hygiene and quality controls trough out the whole value chain, from roe production, farming to slaughtering. The trout are feed by pellets containing natural ingredients such as fishmeal and fish oil. There is no use of antibiotics or chemicals. No gene manipulation is done. All packers are HACCP approved and individual certified according to requirements in each market i.e. EU, Russia, USA and Japan.
External and strict inspections are done regularly by the governmental Norwegian Food Safety Authority.
